Wuxi Chengchang Seats Manufacturing Co Ltd is a China-based, entirely capitalized automobile spare part company, financed and owned by Tan Chong International Limited. The company entered the Chinese Market as a joint venture in 1994 and has since evolved into a whole owned subsidiary. Its share is entirely controlled by TC Automotive Ltd - a subordinate company of Tan Chong International Ltd.(which is listed in Hong Kong).

The company specializes in producing auto seats and accessories for a wide range of transport vehicles. These include medium-to-large coaches, trucks, mini passenger cars, mini coaches, project machinery, agricultural machinery, electrical vehicles etc.

Since inception, the company has focused on continual improvement of business management. This strategy bore fruition with the company being awarded the ISO9001-2000 certificate and the TS/ISO16949-2002 quality control system certificate in quick succession.

The company is dedicated to the management philosophy of "customers are supreme" and "quality is paramount". It is devoted to the development of both domestic and overseas markets and the provision of quality products and services for its customers.

Major Businesses

Overseas Business : The sale of seats for project and agricultural machinery is mainly to the USA, Japanese and European markets with part of the products being sold to domestic foreign-owned business enterprises.

Domestic Business: The Company provides seats for coaches and buses in addition to project machineries and agricultural machineries.

Technical Authentication in the Past 3 Years

In September 2007, the seats for mini passenger cars have passed 3C quality authentication;
In October 2007, it passed ISO/TS16949: 2002 Quality Control System Authentication;
In December 2008, the seats for mini coaches passed 3C Compulsory Inspection and Authentication on;
In December 2008, the seats for project machineries have passed the standard Test of ISO2631-1 : 1997 (GB/T8419-2007).

Major Projects in the Past 2 Years

April 2008 saw the company embark on the sales of seats for coaches, buses and trucks in the region of Nanjin, Shaoxin, Anhui for Xiamen Golden Dragon Auto Seat Co Ltd

In 2008, the company commenced the development of the project of providing seats for the Chang An mini car. It has completed product development, pre - installation and pick-up fittings and proposes to be a supplier for Nanjing Chang An Automobile Limited Company.
